Mail a letter to your landlord or utility with Meta Muse

Some companies still insist on paper. Your lease says written notice. Your gym will only cancel by post. The utility wants a signed letter for the billing dispute. Meta Muse is genuinely good at the hard part, which is writing a clear, firm, polite letter. Then it stops, because nothing in the app can print or post anything.

What you need

Step 1: Get a key

Go to https://noerrands.com/get-key, enter your email, and leave the choice on read and write. The key is shown once, so keep the tab open until step 3.

Step 2: Paste the prompt into Muse

Copy the whole block and paste it into Muse as one message.

Build a custom connector for No Errands. One API key covers three services:

2. Store my API key in the Secure Credentials Store as NOERRANDS_API_KEY.
   The same key works for all three. Never print, log, echo, or repeat it,
   not even partially.
   Send it as the header: Authorization: Bearer <NOERRANDS_API_KEY>

3. Prefer the MCP endpoints (streamable HTTP):

Muse reads our connector briefs, writes its own client, tests it, and saves it as a reusable skill. Approve network access to our domain when Muse asks.

Step 3: Paste your key into the Secure Credentials Store

The key goes into the Secure Credentials Store as NOERRANDS_API_KEY, not into the chat. Meta's design has the agent work with a stand-in value, with the real key swapped in at the network edge.

Step 4: Add credits

Say "add credits to my mail account" and Muse hands you a checkout link you pay in your own browser. Your options are $2.49 for a single letter, or $10.00 for $12.50 of credit (one free letter), $25.00 for $32.50 of credit (three free letters) and $50.00 for $67.50 of credit (seven free letters) -- every pack credits more than it costs.

Step 5: Give Muse the facts and read the draft

The trick is to give Muse the facts and let it write.

Write to my landlord, Coastal Property Management, 400 Harbor Blvd Suite 12, San Diego CA 92101. I am giving 30 days notice, moving out on 1 November, and I want the deposit sent to my new address. Show me the letter, then mail it.

My gym only cancels by post. Write to Iron Works Fitness, 210 Mill Road, Dayton OH 45402, cancel my membership at the end of the month, member number 44812, and mail it.

The water bill for August is wrong. Write a polite dispute letter to the city utility at 55 Civic Center Plaza, Fresno CA 93721, account 9920-118, explaining the reading is double our usual. Mail it certified.

Three things worth doing every time:

Before it sends, Muse checks the address against postal records and shows you the tidied version, which catches the suite number you forgot; prices the job; then shows you the recipient, the letter and the total and waits for you to say yes. Nothing is printed and no credits move until you approve.

Questions people ask

Should I send a notice certified?

For notice under a lease it is usually worth the $7.50 surcharge. A two-page certified notice comes to $10.24. See how to send certified mail.

Can Muse look up my landlord's address?

It can try, and it is often right. Check it anyway. The address check says whether an address is deliverable, not whether it is the right company.

Can I mail a PDF I already have?

Yes. Point Muse at a PDF at a public web address and it can mail that instead of writing something new.

How long does it take to arrive?

Muse gives you an expected delivery date when the letter is accepted. It comes from the mail carrier and is an estimate.

Can I stop it after approving?

No. Once it is accepted for printing it is gone.

What if I approve the wrong address?

It gets mailed there. Email support@noerrands.com and we will tell you honestly what can and cannot be done, which is usually reprinting at our cost if we made the error and resending at yours if the address came from you.

Does anyone at No Errands read my letter?
