No Errands Bookings connector: terms

Effective 2026-09-21. These terms cover the booking connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. They add to the general terms of service; where the two differ, this page governs the booking connector.

This connector has two sides. The first half is for customers booking an appointment. The second is for businesses taking them.

What the connector does

You, or an AI agent acting for you, search businesses that have connected their Square Appointments account to us, see their services and real open slots, and book one. The booking is created in the business's Square calendar.

For customers

We are an introduction, not the service

Your appointment is with the business, not with us. They set the price, do the work, and set the cancellation policy. We pass the booking through and get out of the way. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, timeliness or legality of what the business does, and we do not employ, supervise or endorse them.

It is free to you

Searching, checking availability, booking and cancelling cost you nothing and never touch your credit balance. You pay the business directly for the service. We never take a payment from you for the appointment.

Approval before every booking

Creating and cancelling a booking are separate, consequential actions. The connector brief requires any agent using this service to show you the business name and address, the service, the price, the exact start time with its timezone, and the cancellation policy, and to get your explicit approval before booking.

You can limit this further with a read-only API key. The server refuses any booking or cancellation made with one.

Whatever is booked with your API key is treated as booked by you.

Give real details

The name, email and phone on a booking go to a real business that will hold a slot for you. Give your own details, or the details of a person you are booking for with their knowledge. Do not book under someone else's name without their say-so.

Cancellations and no-shows

The business's cancellation policy applies, and it is shown to you before you confirm. A late cancellation or a no-show may cost you money under that policy; that is between you and the business. Cancel through the connector, or contact the business directly.

There is no reschedule step in v0. Cancel and rebook.

Acceptable use

Do not use this connector to make bookings you do not intend to keep, to block out a competitor's calendar, to harass a business, to book under a false identity, or to scrape the directory. We may close an account that does any of these, and tell the affected businesses.

For businesses

Connecting

By connecting your Square account at /for-businesses you confirm you are authorised to act for the business and to grant the Square permissions shown on Square's approval screen. You are responsible for keeping your services, prices, availability and cancellation policy accurate in Square.

The fee

You owe $1.00 per completed booking we send you. Nothing else: no monthly fee, no set-up fee, no listing fee. A booking that is cancelled is not a completed booking and is not charged.

In v0 we record the fee and show it to you. We are not invoicing yet. Before we start invoicing we will email you, and you may disconnect first, in which case you owe nothing.

We never take a cut of what your customer pays you. That money goes from your customer to you through Square, as it does today.

Your customers are your customers

The person who books is your customer, in your Square account, under your policies. We do not market to them on our own behalf and we do not sell their details.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time, either by revoking No Errands in Square or by emailing support@noerrands.com from your Square account email. It takes effect immediately: we stop sending bookings and remove you from search. Bookings already in your calendar are yours and stay there. You owe nothing further beyond fees already recorded for completed bookings.

We may also disconnect a business that repeatedly fails to honour bookings, misrepresents its services, or breaks these terms.

Availability and accuracy

Slots and prices are read from Square at the moment of the request. If a slot is taken between the moment it is shown and the moment it is booked, the booking fails rather than overwriting anything. We do not guarantee that the directory is complete, that any particular business is available, or that Square is reachable.

Your data

See the connector privacy page. In short: a customer's name, email and phone go to the business and to Square so the booking can exist; merchant tokens are encrypted at rest; we do not sell data.

Liability

The limits, disclaimers, indemnity, and governing law in the general terms of service apply to this connector.
