No Errands Fax connector: privacy

In one sentence: to send a fax we need the destination number and the document, we pass both to the company that operates the fax line, and we delete the document 30 days after transmission.

A fax often carries sensitive material: medical forms, insurance paperwork, court documents. Treat what you send accordingly, and see the retention table below for how long we hold it.
Why we have it
Only to send the fax you asked for, tell you whether it arrived, and charge the right amount. We do not read your documents, we do not use them to train models, and we do not use them for marketing.
Who we share it with
- Our fax provider, which operates the actual fax transmission. They receive the destination number and the document. They process it for us under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
- The telephone network, which carries the call.
- Stripe, if you buy credits. Stripe receives your email address and the amount. Card details go to Stripe directly, never to us.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers.
- Law enforcement or a court, if legally required.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Documents you host yourself
If you give us a pdf_url, we fetch that URL to send the fax. Whoever hosts
that file can see that it was fetched. Use a link that is not guessable, and
take it down when you are done.
Agents only act with your approval
If you reach this connector through an AI agent such as Meta's Muse, the agent uses an API key you created and stored in the agent's secure credential store. The connector brief the agent reads requires it to:
- confirm the destination number with you and read it back, because a mistyped fax number sends your document to a stranger;
- confirm which document is being sent;
- show you the price and get your explicit approval before every send;
- stop, rather than retry, if you are out of credits or the send fails.
Nothing is transmitted without that approval. Our responses to the agent contain data only, never instructions.

Deleting your data
Email support@noerrands.com from the address on your account. We will revoke your keys and delete your fax content and fax records within 30 days, keeping only what tax and legal rules require us to hold in the billing ledger.
You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it.
A fax already transmitted cannot be recalled, and the fact that it was sent stays in the billing ledger.
Other people's fax numbers
When you send a fax you are giving us someone else's number and, usually, information about a third party inside the document. Only fax people you mean to contact, and make sure you are allowed to send them that information.
