No Errands Fax connector: terms

Effective 2026-09-21. These terms cover the fax connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. They add to the general terms of service; where the two differ, this page governs the fax connector.

What the connector does

You, or an AI agent acting for you, give us a destination fax number and a document. We transmit it over the telephone network to that number and report whether it went through.

United States and Canadian fax numbers only.

Approval before every send

Sending is a separate, chargeable, irreversible action. The connector brief requires any agent using this service to confirm the destination number with you, read it back, confirm which document is being sent, show you the price, and get your explicit approval before each send.

You can limit this further by using a read-only API key. The server refuses any send made with a read-only key.

Whatever is sent with your API key is treated as sent by you. You are responsible for the document and for having the right to send it to that number.

Check the number

A fax goes to whatever number you give us. A single wrong digit sends your document to a stranger, and we cannot get it back. Checking the number is your responsibility. The connector brief requires the agent to read it back to you for exactly this reason.

What you may not fax

Do not use this connector to send:

• anything unlawful, or anything that helps someone break the law;
• unsolicited advertising. Sending unsolicited fax advertisements is restricted by US federal law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Junk Fax Prevention Act, and the penalties fall on the sender;
• harassment, threats, or repeated faxes to someone who has asked you to stop;
• anything that impersonates another person or organisation, including fake official notices, fake invoices, and fake legal demands;
• content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• another person's medical, financial or identity records that you have no right to send.

We may refuse or stop any transmission, and we may close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these rules. Where a fax is refused before transmission, we return the credits.

Document handling

Send a PDF by URL. We fetch that URL at send time. If you supply text instead of a PDF and our fax provider cannot accept rendered text, the request is rejected with a clear error asking for a PDF; nothing is sent and nothing is charged.

We do not edit your document. What we transmit is what you gave us.

Price and payment

Prices are published at /pricing and are charged in credits at the moment of the send. Estimates are free.

Credits are bought in advance through Stripe, in your own browser. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. The same credit balance covers fax and mail.

If your balance is short, the send stops before anything is transmitted and no credits are taken.

When the page count is not known in advance we estimate it and correct the charge once the provider reports the real count. The correction is recorded on your ledger.

Delivery, failure and refunds

• Before you approve a send, nothing happens and nothing is charged.
• After you approve, the fax is queued and cannot be recalled.
• Fax is an old and unreliable medium. A busy line, a machine that is off, or a bad connection can all stop a fax. We do not guarantee delivery.
• A fax that ends in a failed state is refunded to your credit balance once, automatically.
• If our provider fails after we have charged you, we return the credits and report a provider error.

A successful transmission is not proof of receipt by a particular person. If you need proof, ask the recipient to confirm.

Your data

See the connector privacy page. In short: we pass the number and the document to the fax provider so it can be transmitted, we delete the document 30 days after transmission, and we do not sell your data.

The limits, disclaimers, indemnity, and governing law in the general terms of service apply to this connector.
