No Errands Bookings connector: privacy
Effective 2026-09-21. This page covers the booking connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. The general policy is at /privacy; where the two differ, this page governs the booking connector.
This connector has two sides, so this page does too: customers, who book an appointment through an agent, and merchants, who connect a Square account to take those bookings.
In one sentence for customers: to book you an appointment we receive your name, email and phone, and we share them with the business you are booking and with Square, because that is how the business knows who is coming.
If you are booking an appointment
What we receive about you
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name (given and family name) | The business needs to know who is arriving, and it goes on their calendar |
| Your email address | The business and Square use it to confirm the booking and to reach you if something changes |
| Your phone number | The business uses it if they need to contact you about the appointment |
| The provider, service and time you chose | To make the booking |
| A note, if you added one | It is passed to the business |
| Your account email, from when you created your API key | Support and your own booking history |
| Request metadata: timestamp, IP address, endpoint, status | Security, rate limiting, debugging |
The agent must collect your name, email and phone from you. It is not permitted to invent them or to take them from anywhere other than your own words.
Who we share it with
- The business you are booking with. We share your name, email, phone and any note, because a real person has to know who is coming. They handle it under their own privacy policy, as they would any other booking.
- Square, which runs the business's appointment calendar. We create or match a Square customer record using your email, then create the booking. Square is a processor for the business and handles your data under Square's own terms.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers.
- Law enforcement or a court, if legally required.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to any business other than the one you chose to book.
What we do not do
We do not take a payment from you for the appointment. You pay the business directly, as you would if you had walked in. We never see your card details for the service itself, and booking through us costs you nothing.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Your name, email and phone attached to a booking | 2 years after the appointment date |
| Booking record: provider, service, time, status | 2 years |
| Cancelled bookings | 2 years, marked cancelled |
| Technical logs | 90 days |
Your booking also lives in the business's Square account for as long as they keep it. Deleting it from our side does not delete it from theirs; ask the business directly for that.
If you are a business
What we receive about you
When you connect your Square account at /for-businesses, you authorise us through Square's own OAuth screen. We then receive and store:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your business email address | To match your account and contact you |
| Your Square merchant profile: business name, locations, address, latitude and longitude, timezone | To list you and show the right address and times |
| Your services: names, durations, prices, team members | So an agent can offer them. Cached and refreshed when older than ten minutes |
| Your appointment availability and bookings | To offer real slots and create real bookings |
| Square access and refresh tokens | To talk to Square on your behalf. Encrypted at rest |
| Your directory profile: display name, categories, service area, visibility, cancellation policy | To control how you appear |
| A ledger of booking fees you owe | Billing |
We do not receive your Square password, your payouts, or your banking details.
Scopes we ask Square for
Read and write access to appointments, plus read access to appointment business settings, items, your merchant profile, and customers, and write access to customers so a booking can be attached to the right customer record. You can see the exact list on Square's approval screen before you accept.
Disconnecting
Revoke No Errands in Square, or email support@noerrands.com from your Square account email. We revoke the token at Square, delete your stored tokens, and remove you from search. Bookings already in your Square calendar stay there; they are yours.
We keep your fee ledger for 7 years because tax rules require it, and delete the rest of your merchant record within 30 days of disconnection.
Agents only act with your approval
If a customer reaches this connector through an AI agent such as Meta's Muse, the agent uses an API key the customer created and stored in the agent's secure credential store. The connector brief the agent reads requires it to:
- show the customer the business name and address, the service, the price, the exact start time with its timezone, and the cancellation policy;
- get the customer's explicit approval before creating or cancelling a booking;
- collect the name, email and phone from the customer and never invent them.
Nothing is booked without that approval. Our responses to the agent contain data only, never instructions.
Deleting your data
Email support@noerrands.com from the address on your account, whether you are a customer or a business. We will delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it.
Appointments already in a business's Square calendar are outside our control; ask the business.
Where this applies
United States only. Our servers and our providers are in the United States.
