No Errands Tables connector: terms
Effective 2026-09-21. These terms cover the restaurant table connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. They add to the general terms of service; where the two differ, this page governs the tables connector.
What the connector does
You, or an AI agent acting for you, give us a restaurant, its phone number, a party size, a date and time, and the name the table goes under. We contact that restaurant by automated phone call or by text, ask for the table, and report back what the restaurant said.
United States restaurant numbers only.
We are not the restaurant
This is worth saying plainly, because it decides everything else on this page.
- We do not hold tables and we do not run anybody's book. We relay a request and repeat the answer.
- Nothing is a reservation until the restaurant says it is. A
confirmedstatus means a person at that restaurant pressed 1 on our call or replied Y to our text. It is their word, relayed, not a guarantee from us. - A restaurant can still lose your table. Restaurants overbook, misplace a note, or close for the evening. If you turn up and the table is not there, that is between you and the restaurant, exactly as it would be if you had phoned yourself.
- We do not take deposits, we never handle what you spend at the restaurant, and we have no part in a no-show fee the restaurant may charge you.
Approval before every request
Asking for a table is a separate action that contacts a real business. The connector brief requires any agent using this service to confirm the restaurant, the party size, the date and time, and the name with you, and to get your explicit approval before every request.
You can limit this further by using a read-only API key. The server refuses any request made with a read-only key.
Whatever is asked for with your API key is treated as asked for by you. You are responsible for the number you give us and for the request being genuine.
Check the number
We call or text whatever number you give us. A wrong digit reaches a stranger and asks them about a table. Checking the number is your responsibility, and the connector brief requires the agent to read it back to you for exactly that reason.
What you may not use this for
Do not use this connector to:
- ask for tables you have no intention of taking, or make requests in someone else's name without their knowledge;
- contact a business for any purpose other than a genuine reservation request;
- harass a restaurant, or keep asking one that has declined;
- contact a number that is not the restaurant's published business line;
- impersonate another person or organisation.
We may refuse any request, and we may close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these rules. Nothing is charged for a request we refuse.
The restaurant's side
Restaurants are contacted on their own published business number.
- First contact is always an automated phone call, whatever the number looks like. We text a restaurant only after it has asked us to.
- A restaurant asks for texts either by pressing 3 on one of our calls, or by signing up at for restaurants and replying YES to our confirmation text. Both are recorded with a timestamp.
- A restaurant opts out by replying STOP to any text or pressing 9 on any call. We then never contact that number again, by either channel, and any request that was open is closed.
- After an opt-out, a request for that number is refused with an error telling the agent to have you phone the restaurant yourself. Nothing re-enables that number except a written request from the restaurant to support@noerrands.com.
- Being contacted costs a restaurant nothing. There is no fee, no commission, and no charge per table.
Price and payment
Prices are published at /pricing and are charged in credits.
You are charged only when a restaurant confirms. A decline, a no-answer, a request you cancel, and a failure on our side all cost nothing. There is no estimate to call and no refund to claim, because nothing is taken until there is a table.
If your balance is too low, the request stops before the restaurant is contacted and no credits are taken. That check happens up front on purpose: the alternative is telling you to top up after a host has already written your name in the book.
Credits are bought in advance through Stripe, in your own browser. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. A table pass is credit that can only buy a confirmed table; ordinary credit pays for a table too.
Once in a while a restaurant confirms at the moment your balance has gone elsewhere. The table stays confirmed and the shortfall is recorded against your account. We do not un-confirm a restaurant's yes because of our own billing.
Timing and cancellation
- A request gives up an hour before the table, or two hours after you made it, whichever comes first. After that it is a no-answer and costs nothing.
- There is no second attempt. A restaurant that did not answer is not called again.
- You can cancel any time before the restaurant answers, free. We send a courtesy text only if we texted in the first place; a second automated call would bother the restaurant more than the request did.
- Once a restaurant has answered, the answer is final on our side. To change or cancel a confirmed table, phone the restaurant.
Your data
See the connector privacy page. In short: we pass the party size, the time and the first name to the restaurant so it can answer, we scrub the diner's details 30 days after a request settles, and we do not sell your data.
