No Errands

Let people book you by asking their assistant

More and more people now ask an AI assistant to find them a haircut, a massage, or a check-up. If your Square Appointments calendar is connected to us, your business is one of the ones it can offer, and the booking lands straight in your existing calendar.

You do not learn a new system. You do not change how you work. Bookings show up in Square exactly as they do today.

Connect your Square account

Enter the email you use for Square and we will take you to Square to sign in and approve the connection. It takes about a minute.

We use it to match your account and to email you about bookings. Nothing else.

You will sign in on Square's own website. We never see your Square password. You can review exactly what you are granting on Square's approval screen before you accept.

What it costs

$1.00 per completed booking. Nothing else.

  • No monthly fee.
  • No set-up fee.
  • No charge for being listed.
  • No charge for a booking that is cancelled.
  • We never touch the money your customer pays you. That stays between you and Square, exactly as it does now.

In v0 we record what you owe and show it to you; we are not invoicing yet. When invoicing starts we will email you first, and you can disconnect before anything is charged.

What happens when someone books

  1. Someone asks their assistant for, say, a haircut on Thursday afternoon near you.
  2. The assistant searches our connected businesses by service and location, and shows them your name, address, services and prices.
  3. If they pick you, the assistant reads your real open slots from Square.
  4. Before booking, the assistant must show the person your business name and address, the service, the price, the exact start time, and your cancellation policy, and get their explicit yes. It cannot book silently.
  5. The booking is created in your Square calendar with the customer's name, email and phone, the same as any other online booking.

What we can see

When you connect, you grant us read and write access to your Square appointments, plus read access to your services, your business profile, and your customers, so we can create a booking against the right customer record. We use that access only to show your availability and make bookings.

We store your business name, categories, address, timezone and cancellation policy so we can list you, and a cached copy of your service list so searches are fast. Your Square access tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not see your Square password and we do not have access to your payouts or your banking.

Control what people see

After you connect, you can set your display name, the categories you want to appear under, your service area, your cancellation policy, and whether you are visible in search at all. Turn visibility off and you stay connected but stop appearing.

How to disconnect

You are never locked in. There are two ways out and both take effect immediately:

  1. From your side, in Square. Open Square, go to your account's connected apps, and revoke No Errands. Our access stops at once.
  2. From our side. Email support@noerrands.com from your Square account email and ask us to disconnect. We revoke the token at Square, delete your stored tokens, and remove you from search.

Either way, bookings already in your calendar stay in your calendar. They are yours; they live in Square, not with us. We stop sending you new ones and you owe nothing further.

Questions

Do I need Square Appointments?

Yes, for now. This connects to Square Appointments specifically. If you use something else, email support@noerrands.com and tell us which system, so we know what to build next.

Will it double-book me?

No. Availability is read live from Square at the moment someone asks, and the booking is written back to Square. If a slot goes while the person is deciding, the booking fails rather than overwriting anything.

Can someone book me as a prank?

The assistant has to collect a real name, email and phone from the person, and it is not allowed to invent them. Cancellations come through the same way. Your own Square no-show and cancellation policies still apply, and we show your cancellation policy to the person before they confirm.

Who is the customer of record?

You are. The person is your customer, in your Square account, under your terms and your cancellation policy. We introduce them and get out of the way.
