How to book an appointment with Meta Muse

Connect No Errands Bookings to Muse once and you can say "find me a haircut Thursday afternoon near downtown Austin and book it". Muse searches real businesses, reads their actual open slots, and puts you in their calendar.

This is free for you. Booking costs no credits. The business pays us.

What you need

You do not need credits to book. You only need credits for mail and fax.

Step 1: Get a key

Go to https://noerrands.com/get-key, enter your email, and leave the choice on read and write so Muse is allowed to book. One key covers bookings, mail and fax. The key is shown once, so keep the tab open until step 3.

Step 2: Paste this prompt into Muse

Copy the whole block and paste it into Muse as one message.

Build a custom connector for No Errands. One API key covers three services:
printed mail (letters and postcards), fax, and appointment booking.

1. Read these three connector briefs and follow them exactly:

2. Store my API key in the Secure Credentials Store as NOERRANDS_API_KEY.
   The same key works for all three. Never print, log, echo, or repeat it,
   not even partially.

Muse reads our connector briefs, writes its own client, tests it, and saves it as a reusable skill. Approve network access to our domain when Muse asks. You will see a caution notice because Meta does not review custom connectors.

Step 3: Paste your key into the Secure Credentials Store

When Muse asks for the key it opens its Secure Credentials Store. Paste the key in there, never into the chat.

Muse's agent never sees the real key. It works with a stand-in token and the real value is swapped in at the network edge, so a web page cannot talk Muse into leaking it.

Step 4: Ask Muse to find a time

Muse will search connected businesses by what you asked for and where you are, then read back a few with names, addresses and prices. Pick one and it will pull that business's real open slots for the days you want, and offer them in your own words rather than raw timestamps.

If nothing comes back, there may be no connected business near you yet. Try a bigger city nearby, or a different word for the service.

Step 5: Confirm the booking

Muse will ask you for the name, email and phone to put on the booking. It is not allowed to guess these or reuse something it half-remembers, because they go to a real business that will contact a real person.

After booking, Muse tells you the booking ID, the time in plain words, and how to cancel. Later you can ask:

or

Cancel my haircut on Thursday.

Muse will read you the cancellation policy before it cancels, because a late cancellation may cost you money at the business.

What it costs

Nothing. Searching, checking availability, booking and cancelling are all free and never touch your credit balance.

You pay the business directly for the service itself, the same as if you had walked in or booked on their website. We are not involved in that payment.

Questions people ask

Is my key safe?

Yes, as long as it goes into Muse's Secure Credentials Store and not into a chat message. Muse's agent only handles a stand-in token; the real key is inserted outside the agent's reach. We store only a hash of it.

If a key may have leaked, email support@noerrands.com and we will revoke it.

Can Muse book something without asking me?

No. Before every booking, Muse must show you the business, the service, the price, the exact time and the cancellation policy, and get your explicit yes. Booking is a separate, consequential call and Muse's permission layer treats it that way.

For a hard guarantee, ask for a read-only key on the key page. Muse can then search and show you times but the server refuses any attempt to book or cancel.

Who gets my name, email and phone?

The business you book with, and Square, which runs their appointment calendar. That is how the business knows who is arriving and how to reach you if something changes. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing. Full detail on the booking privacy page.

What if I run out of credits?

Booking does not use credits, so this cannot stop a booking. Credits only matter for mail and fax.

Can I change an appointment?

There is no single "reschedule" step yet. Ask Muse to cancel the old one and book the new one; it will confirm both with you.

Which businesses can I book?

Businesses that use Square Appointments and have connected their account to us. It is a new service, so coverage is thin in most places. If your favourite place is not there, send them to for businesses.

Can I book outside the US?

Not yet. United States only.
