How to compare shipping rates across carriers

Ask your AI assistant for rates. No Errands asks USPS, UPS, FedEx and other carriers at once and shows each option with the carrier, the service, the delivery days and the price. Getting rates is free; you only pay if you approve a label.

How to do it with No Errands

  1. Connect No Errands once. Add No Errands to Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client with the address https://api.noerrands.com/mcp and sign in with your email. The steps for each assistant are below. You do this once for every errand.
  2. Add credits if you need them. A new account starts at $0.00. Ask your assistant to add credits and it gives you a checkout link. You pay in your own browser, never in the chat.
  3. Give it the addresses and the weight. Tell the assistant where the package goes from and to, and what it weighs. Add the box size if you know it.
  4. Compare the rates for free. The assistant gets real rates from USPS, UPS, FedEx and other carriers and shows you the carrier, the service, the delivery days and the price.
  5. Approve one. It buys only the rate you picked, and only after your yes.
  6. Get the label. You get a PDF label to print, or for USPS a QR code you show at the counter so they print it for you.

What to type

Once No Errands is connected, you can ask like this:

Compare rates to ship a 5 lb box from Columbus OH 43215 to Seattle WA 98101. I want it there within 3 days.

The assistant checks first, shows you what it is about to do and the price, and waits for your yes.

Questions people ask

What do I need to give for a rate?

Both addresses and the weight. Add the box size for a more exact rate, since some carriers price by size.

What if I under-declare the weight?

Use the real weight. A carrier can bill an adjustment later for an under-declared package.

Is it cheaper than the post office counter?

Not always. Small packages can cost up to about a third more than the counter price; heavier ones come close to it and some cost less. You are paying to skip the trip and the line. The assistant shows you the price before it buys.

What if I do not use the label?

Ask the assistant to void it before it is scanned. A void is a refund request: the credits come back when the carrier confirms, which takes about 15 days or more for USPS.

How do I pay?

With prepaid credits. You can buy $2.49 for a single letter, or $10.00 for $12.50 of credit (one free letter), $25.00 for $32.50 of credit (three free letters) and $50.00 for $67.50 of credit (seven free letters); every pack credits more than it costs, and credits never expire. Your assistant gives you a checkout link and you pay in your own browser.
