No Errands Ship connector: terms

Effective 2026-09-21. These terms cover the shipping label connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. They add to the general terms of service; where the two differ, this page governs the shipping connector.

What the connector does

You, or an AI agent acting for you, give us two addresses and a package's weight and size. We show you prices, and on your approval we buy a shipping label or a return label, book a carrier pickup, track a package, or ask for an unused label to be voided.

United States addresses only, at both ends.

We are not the carrier

• Labels are bought from the carriers through EasyPost, our shipping provider. USPS, UPS, FedEx and the other carriers carry the package under their own terms and their own rules, which apply to every label bought here.
• Delivery dates are the carrier's estimate, not our promise. We do not handle, hold or move the package, and we are not responsible for a carrier's delay, loss or damage.
• A pickup is the carrier's appointment. If the carrier does not come, that is between you and the carrier, exactly as it would be if you had booked it yourself.

Approval before every label

Buying a label is a separate action that costs money. The connector brief requires any agent using this service to get a quote first, show you the carrier, the service, the delivery days and the price, and get your explicit approval before it buys anything. The purchase call only works with the quote you approved. A quote can be bought once, within 60 minutes.

You can limit this further by using a read-only API key. The server refuses any purchase made with a read-only key.

Whatever is bought with your API key is treated as bought by you.

Addresses and weight are yours to get right

• We check both addresses with the carrier before we quote. A check that passes means the carrier thinks it can deliver there, not that the right person lives there.
• Give the real weight and size. The price depends on them. A carrier that weighs or measures a package and finds it heavier or bigger than the label says can charge the difference afterwards. That adjustment is yours to pay. We pass it on at cost and may deduct it from your credit balance.
• For a return, the returns address comes from you or from the merchant's own return instructions. The agent is not allowed to guess it.

Voids are refund requests

• You can ask to void a label that has not been scanned by the carrier.
• A void is a refund request, not an instant refund. Your credits come back only when the carrier confirms the refund. If the carrier rejects it, the charge stays.
• USPS accepts a void only within 30 days of purchase and only for a label that was never scanned. It takes at least 15 days to confirm. Other carriers set their own windows.
• A label that has been scanned, or used, cannot be voided.

What you may not ship

You may not use this connector to ship anything the carrier prohibits or restricts. In particular:

• hazardous materials, including loose lithium batteries, flammable liquids, aerosols, compressed gases, explosives and fireworks, unless the carrier's rules allow that item and you declare it;
• illegal items, controlled substances, or anything you have no right to send;
• firearms, ammunition, live animals, cash, or other items the carrier bans or allows only under a special service we do not offer.

You are responsible for what is in the package and for packing it safely. We may refuse a request, and we may close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these rules.

No insurance

This version of the connector does not sell shipping insurance. We add none. Any coverage a carrier includes with a service is the carrier's, under the carrier's terms. Do not ship anything you cannot afford to lose without insuring it yourself.

Price and payment

Prices are published at /pricing and are charged in credits. A label costs the carrier's rate times 1.42, rounded up to the cent, plus $1.50. Every quote shows the exact price before you approve it. You are charged that price.

Quotes, tracking and USPS pickups are free. A paid pickup from another carrier is priced like a label and refunded if you cancel it.

The charge is taken when the label is bought. If the carrier refuses the purchase, the charge is refunded at once. If your balance is too low, nothing is bought and no credits are taken.

Credits are bought in advance through Stripe, in your own browser. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. Fax credit and table credit cannot buy a label.

Your data

See the connector privacy page. In short: the addresses go to EasyPost and the carrier so the package can be delivered. We redact them 30 days after delivery. We do not sell your data.

Maren Technologies LLC is an independent company. Muse is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. Connecting through Muse does not make Meta a party to this agreement. We are not affiliated with USPS, UPS, FedEx or EasyPost.

Liability

The limits, disclaimers, indemnity, and governing law in the general terms of service apply to this connector. In particular, we are not liable for a carrier's conduct, including a package that is late, lost or damaged, or a pickup that does not happen.
