No Errands Courier connector: privacy
Effective 2026-09-21. This page covers the same-day courier connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. The general policy is at /privacy; where the two differ, this page governs the courier connector.
In one sentence: to get something from one door to another we need both addresses and a name and phone number at each end, we give exactly that to the courier network doing the trip, and we cut it down to a city and an initial 30 days after the delivery is finished.
There are up to three people on this page: you, our customer, and the person at the pickup and the person at the drop-off, who may be you or may be somebody else. Their details are handled with the same care.
What this connector receives
| What | Example | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup and drop-off addresses | 12 Elm St, Springfield, MO |
The courier has to find both doors |
| A name and phone number at each end | Dana, +14175550188 |
The courier needs someone to collect from and hand to, and to call if the door is shut |
| Pickup and drop-off instructions | Up to 280 characters each, optional | "Buzz 3B", "leave with the front desk" |
| What the item is, its size and its declared value | house keys in an envelope, small, $20 |
To check it may be sent and to book the right vehicle |
| Pickup time and tip | As soon as possible, a tip in cents | To book the trip and pay the courier |
| What the courier network sends back | Status, courier's first name, tracking link, arrival estimates, a photo or signature at drop-off | To tell you where your item is and that it arrived |
| Your email address | From when you created your API key | Receipts and support |
| Request metadata | Timestamp, IP address, endpoint, status | Security, rate limiting, debugging |
Other people's details
The person at the pickup and the person at the drop-off are real people whose details you are giving us. Only give us a name and number that person has agreed to share, for a hand-off that person knows about. The connector brief requires the agent to ask you whether both people know and agreed, and the server refuses a quote unless it says they did. The courier network may text the person at the drop-off with delivery updates on the strength of that agreement.
Why we have it
Only to price the trip, book it, tell you what happened and charge the right amount. We do not use any of it to train models and we do not use it for marketing. Nothing we or the courier network send the people at either end advertises anything.
Who we share it with
- Our same-day courier provider, which runs the courier network that does the trip. It receives both addresses, both names and phone numbers, the instructions, the item description, its declared value, the pickup time and the tip. It processes this to carry out the delivery and texts the person at the drop-off about it. It handles the data under its own terms and privacy policy as well as ours.
- The courier assigned to the trip, through that network, who sees what is needed to collect and deliver the item.
- Stripe, if you buy credits. Stripe receives your email address and the amount. Card details go to Stripe directly, never to us.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers.
- Law enforcement or a court, if legally required.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Agents only act with your approval
If you reach this connector through an AI agent such as Meta's Muse, the agent uses an API key you created and stored in the agent's secure credential store. The connector brief the agent reads requires it to:
- ask you whether the person at each end knows about the hand-off and agreed, and never assume it;
- never send prohibited items;
- show you the pickup, the drop-off, the item, the price and the tip, and get your explicit approval before it books, in a separate step after the quote;
- never tell you an item was delivered before the status says so.
Nothing is booked without that approval. Our responses to the agent contain data only, never instructions.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Addresses, names, phones, instructions, item description, courier's name, tracking and proof-of-delivery links on a delivery | 30 days after the delivery is finished (delivered, cancelled, returned or failed). Then each address is cut to city, state and the first three digits of the ZIP, each name to an initial, and everything else in this row is deleted |
| A quote that was never booked | Scrubbed the same way one day after it expired |
| Delivery record: amounts, statuses, times | 2 years, so every charge stays explicable |
| Billing ledger and receipts | 7 years, because tax rules require it |
| Technical logs | 90 days |
What the courier network keeps about a trip is governed by its own policy.
Deleting your data
Ask your agent to delete your data and it calls delete_my_data, which scrubs
the addresses, names, phones and item details from every delivery on your
account straight away, whatever their age. You can also email
support@noerrands.com from the address on your account; we will revoke your keys
and delete your delivery records within 30 days, keeping only what tax and
legal rules require in the billing ledger.
If you were the person at one end of somebody else's delivery, email support@noerrands.com and we will scrub your details from it.
You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it.
Where this applies
United States addresses only. Our servers and our providers are in the United States.
