No Errands Cards connector: privacy
Effective 2026-09-21. This page covers the greeting card connector run by Maren Technologies LLC, a company organised in Missouri, United States. The general policy is at /privacy; where the two differ, this page governs the cards connector.
In one sentence: to mail a card we need the recipient's name and address, your return address and the message, we pass exactly that to the company that makes and mails the card, and we delete the addresses and the message 30 days after the card is mailed.
What this connector receives
| What | Example | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| The recipient's name and mailing address | Jane Doe, 1 Main St, Springfield, MO 65801 |
It is where the card goes |
| Your name and return address | Sam Doe, 2 Oak Ave, Austin, TX 78701 |
Printed or written on the card as the sender, and where a returned card comes back to |
| The message and sign-off | Up to 320 characters handwritten, 500 printed | It is the card |
| The design, the tier and the date | birthday, handwritten, arrive by 2026-10-15 |
To make the right card and mail it on the right day |
| Your email address | From when you created your API key | Receipts and support |
| Request metadata | Timestamp, IP address, endpoint, status | Security, rate limiting, debugging |
The recipient's details come from you. The connector brief tells the agent never to invent an address and to mail only to an address you gave it.
Why we have it
Only to make and mail the card you asked for, to tell you where it is, and to charge or refund the right amount. We do not use any of it to train models and we do not use it for marketing. We never write to the recipient ourselves.
Who we share it with
A card is made and mailed by one of two card providers, depending on the tier you choose. Each receives the recipient's name and address, your name and return address, and the message, because those are what goes on the card.
- Handwrytten, for the handwritten tier. It writes the card with a pen held by a robot, addresses the envelope and mails it.
- PostGrid, for the printed tier. It prints the 6x9 card and mails it First-Class.
Each provider keeps its own copy of the order under its own privacy policy and retention, which we do not control. Deleting your data with us does not delete their copy; we can pass on a deletion request if you email us.
We also share data with:
- The United States Postal Service, which carries the card and reads the address on it.
- Stripe, if you buy credits. Stripe receives your email address and the amount. Card details go to Stripe directly, never to us.
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers.
- Law enforcement or a court, if legally required.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
A printed card is an open postcard
The printed tier puts your message on the back of the card, beside the address, with no envelope. Anyone who handles it on the way, and anyone at the recipient's address, can read it. For a sympathy card or anything private, choose the handwritten tier, which arrives sealed in an envelope.
Agents only act with your approval
If you reach this connector through an AI agent such as Meta's Muse, the agent uses an API key you created and stored in the agent's secure credential store. The connector brief the agent reads requires it to:
- show you the design, the full message, the recipient's name and address, the tier, the price and the dispatch date, and get your explicit approval before every card, because a real card is mailed to a real person;
- write only the message you asked for or approved, and mail only to an address you gave it;
- offer the handwritten tier for sympathy cards and anything private.
Nothing is mailed without that approval. Our responses to the agent contain data only, never instructions.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Recipient and sender addresses on a card | Reduced to city, state and the first three digits of the ZIP code 30 days after the card is mailed |
| The message and sign-off | Deleted 30 days after the card is mailed |
| A card that was cancelled, failed or returned without being mailed | The same reduction, 30 days after its last status change |
| Quotes (the preview before you approve) | Deleted one day after they expire, used or not |
| Card record: design, tier, dates, status, amount charged | 2 years |
| Billing ledger and receipts | 7 years, because tax rules require it |
| Technical logs | 90 days |
Deleting your data
Ask your agent to delete your data and it calls delete_my_data, which at once
reduces every card's addresses to city, state and ZIP3, deletes every message
and sign-off, and deletes every quote on your account, whatever their age. A
card still waiting for its dispatch date is cancelled and refunded first,
because there is nothing left to mail it to.
You can also email support@noerrands.com from the address on your account; we will revoke your keys and delete your card records within 30 days, keeping only what tax and legal rules require in the billing ledger. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it.
A card that has already been mailed cannot be recalled.
Other people's details
A recipient's name and address are information about someone else. Only send cards to people who would expect to hear from you, and keep the message to what you would write by hand.
Where this applies
United States addresses only, for both the recipient and the sender. Our servers and our card providers are in the United States.
